This seasoned telecom professional did start at Telia Mobile wholesale in 1994, and I believe that I am a person that quite uniquely combine deep telecom knowledge (from both a technical, legal, economic and marketing perspective) and datacom.

My "home turf" is the area of wholesale, especially roaming, whichhas the advantage that anyone responsible will need visibility and understanding of the full spectrum of the telecom business; from technology to economy, from wholesale to retail, from CDR/billing/mediation/TAP/data clearing to statistics and follow-up, all bearer services, from responsibility for personnel to defining and meeting challenging targets and so on. You simply need to understand the level of MAP/CAP massages and signaling flows, field structure of TAP3, the owner structure of the world’s operators and all levels in between.

Today I sit at Seanet since four years, as a natural part of the management team. The area of responsibility is roaming, business development, strategy, legal & regulatory and also the business analysis. It’s quite stimulating to see the helicopter view but also to to dive down to the very lowest level of details where the devil is said to hide.

Seanet ”unstable” and it’s under reconstruction (what the Americans call ”Chapter 11”). Some of the contenders for takeover is not likely interested in the roaming portfolio, legal skills or the business development as they have their own competences in these areas. My own futurte within the company is hence quite uncertain.

As I am keen to to take a leap TO something rather than AWAY from something, and equally keen not to either be made redundant nor be a burden to the organization.

I am hence now looking for new challenges.

I primarily seek positions as management within telecom/datacom, product or wholesale but given my rather wide competence with well sufficient depth in many relevant fields, so I find that I can fit well in many positions.
